Women need better hairstyles. Lots of what we have seems to be low polygon count and not really that nice. Lockwood has made quite a few hairstyles but very few of them are ones that I care about. • Long hair styles are in demand • The ability to change color is a must • The ability to wear a head item like a hat without changing the hairstyle is highly desirable (Japan has a number of these and they are nice) • High Polygon Count – hair with detail

Jo... what slot do the hairstyles in Japan take up that allow a head item that doesn't interfere with the hair? Or is it an item on the head that is parented to the "earphones" or "Glasses" or something else? If the hairstyle is not a "hair item" can you change its color? Can you tell me the specific item in Japan so I might try to buy it as well? Thanks!!
It's usually earphones, heavy. That seems common in Japan. I have one normal santa cap, but also one from a japanese game as a reward that occupies the headphone slot. I like that headphone one much better. They also use earrings for odd purposes too. Like for snorkles.
Heavy, I have noticed the US for some reason puts some hairstyles in the "character" tab under hair. In JP they go in the wardrobe under the "head" tab, then accessories like flowers, hats, hair pins go into the accessories tab either under Glasses or the tab next to that. (I'm not in home atm so I cannot check to see what the tab is.)
These are three of the hairstyles that I know of in Japan. First and Third item you cannot change color. I suspect that is by design give it is Sheryl's hair from the Macross series and the Black Rocker series they might want to have kept it that color due to the characters they represent. The Sheryl hair below is the best example I have where a hat can be added to the hair and not change the style. I'll have to see if I can get images of the other styles. The hat is in accessories – headphones
Yes, Heavy, Joanna's pics are a perfect description of the hair and hats. Sadly in the us some of the newer hairstyles in the US have had items incorporated in them and it makes them far less appealing or you cannot change the colors on them.
Also, don't forget Irem is leaving and while Granzella may pick up the slack there, we don't know if they will come here. Irem has a ton of outfits there. School outfits, nurses, policewomen, waitresses, kimonos (Heavy Dragonz Kinomoz?), biker girls, naval officer, gangsters and so much more that never made it to the us. Heavy Water could get us some Heavy Bunniez since they also made the PB bunny style outfit. (As modeled by Haruhi.)
New hair is best made to be added under the main hair tab. So you can edit its colour and put on hats,headphones still. Its where Lockwood have the hair they make.

I don't have a lot of reference pictures.. I'll just try to explain it the best I can. I'd like to see HeavyWater make their own a stranged Wonderland style clothing sets. Clothing sets that are based on the characters. Dark Alice and Colorful Alice are both good choices with lots of options. I'd also like to see more tattoos but with better tops.. XD Like, white tank tops. & Yes yes yes to Joanna's suggestion of hats being in the headphone section.. Last but not least.. I'd like to see an exagerrated (anime type) pigtails wig. That's about it haha. <3
