Hi to all! I've noticed that it is possible to change a Home ID name in Home Japan. So here's the question: Why can they do that and why can't we. I'm sure there are gamers out there who would like to choose a different name without having to delete their whole account, thus losing all the items bought, trophies, prizes etc... Thnx Iban.
The ID change Japan have is not really a ID change, more just a XMB screen name edit. Your main ID remains the same and is showed within Home and other PSN areas.
Anything is Possible, but right now i don't think they have the framework in place to do something like that. Plus with anything like this, its got its down side that people would abuse. That being say you swapped your id and then a week later someone takes over your old id for the use of abuse, many would mistake it for yourself.
They're a good idea, if you like to have tattoos, you just need to be sure of what you want, how you want and where you want can't be mistaken about that (i'm speaking for myself of course) Anyway, about the topic yes i agree that people would abuse of that unfortunatelly I have edited my sccreen name on my JP account but my list there is very very short and restricted so no problem for me now the EU is a different thing, there's lots of mean people out there.
Yes; I didn't think people would eventually use an old ID abusively... There are indeed many mean persons out there on Home. Haha, I should have bought my Ibanez guitar AFTER registering on PlayStation Home... I know how to play on Home; But as far as playing my guitar is concerned.... well..... Still not soooo gooood!
