Am definitely dig RE4 when release on the Wii and love the Wiimote control and hoping with RE4 HD will support the MOVE control. RE4 to me is the first RE which I got into without being scare and enjoy the series.
I ordered Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition yesterday evening from Amazon. If I find I really like that game I will probably be getting some of the older ones as well. We shall see!
The older ones are truly the best, Jo Those ones have more of a horror sense than the behind-the-shoulder ones. I do enjoy Resident Evil 4 and 5 but those aren't what made Resident Evil so captivating. I prefer the survival horror portion over action shooter.
I Really Dislike That It Is Not Coming To Bluray Disc .. LoL Oh Well It Good To See The Series Being Upgraded .. IMO Resident Evil 3 Nemesis Was AWEsome ;D
I think what could make the newer ones keep both styles if they made the newer ones not drop sooo much ammo. I never ran out of ammo ever haha. Old ones were a lot more survival horror but dem camera angles & controls! Oh my! I guess.. what I'm saying is smush them together. Like, some PB and some jelly. I do miss scenarios.. Hope in the newer one they have two different scenarios. One where you can do co-op and one without. I loved RE5 but man Sheva was so stupid as a computer. -sheva dies- "SHEVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"- Chris
There was an Easter egg in Lost in Nightmares in RE5. You could use the classic camera angels during the beginning. This is my favorite part of the entire game, they kept it co-op, story was mostly horror with little action, AND it had the camera angles. It was amazing.
The way Capcom is with ResidentEvil they haven't re-released enough times yet, they will be coming to DVD & Blu-Ray, just wait & see. I'm betting soon & possibly PSVita as well. I agree about Nemesis being osom, you could go up & downstairs without pressing a freaking button, now if they made ResidentEvil where you can run reload shoot & dodge that would be osom. I'm also hoping for no more like ResidentEvil 5, OMG that was the worst of the series.
I had to wonder if Sheva was truly on my side or not. She kept blowing all the ammo! Made you want to plug in a spare controller just so she would stop! Lol
