The Sopranos. I'm not the ONLY one who felt the way the finale ended. :surprise::glare::ranting:

 

Many claim that Nocturne is complete, despite that fact, I disagree! This game has five possible endings, but only one makes the most sense, which is "Failed Creation" thus it is possible to continue the story of the "Demi-Fiend"!!

 

I agree, John kind of left viewers hanging at the end, I actually think "MacReady" was still human and "Childs" was the thing, or maybe both were still human and froze to death! come to think of it, there was a thing game (PS2),

which did pick up where the movie left off, but with a new team! I agree about not making a remake because they can't out do the original, however that is what you can expect, a remake, which is all Hollywood is known for these days.

lol Yes, it would appear so! Capcom as of late, are doing things I feel aren't reflective of the Capcom of the past! (i.e. re-releasing games in order to make a greater profit from same title) It seems greed has both consumed and blinded them. This is evident in their blantant destruction of DMC, they are single handedly destroying Dante's image and everything built from 1,2 (SMT:Nocturne), 3! Hideki Kamiya (DMC creator) can't be happy, as his vision, is what we (fans of DMC) all liked or like about DMC. The "remake" of DMC, is not a remake at all, it's another game entirely, Capcom should scrap it! Anyone who claims to be a DMC fan and plays this, is not a real DMC fan! In regards to an actual movie sequel to "The Thing", I agree, as long as "Carpenter" directs it!

 

This is actually "Big Boss", who dies in MGS 4 from "FOXDIE"! I don't know if "Solid Snake" could actually take on another mission, due to his age! Although he was derived from the genes of "Big Boss", he isn't quite what "Big Boss" was. If anything, I think Hideo Kojima, may actually repeat the process which birthed "Solid, Liquid and Solidus Snake" and use "Solid Snake", in the place of "Big Boss"! So a new soldier would take "Solid Snake's" place! It's been said that Hideo Kojima, will continue the MGS series, but who knows! Of course there is that injection that made Solid Snake young again, so it could be possible to revert him back to this state indefinitely! I'll guess we'll have to wait and see what Hideo does!!

 

Yeah, a lot of people specifically targeted DMC 2 and bashed it for whatever reasons! I however think it was a good game, all it's own, not only that but it also ties in and crosses over into my favorite PS2 RPG, SMT: Nocturne, so it fets bonus points for that!! I agree about developing the characters more. In fact in another forum, I suggested a co-op DMC as it's next release, to which many immediately said "No, it wouldn't work"..."I don't want to play a co-op DMC", etc... It's a shame there aren't to many open minded people anymore! There are enough characters in the DMC universe for the game to be co-op!

 

My apologizes for double quote (using PS3) lol You know VampireWicked, I actually hadn't thought of it until reading this, but technically yes, "The Thing" is actually sequel! In fact a prequel is slated for release this year with the same name in October! Seeing as there weren't any good horror movies so far this year, maybe this one can break the trend!

 

This is in conjunction with my DMC co-op suggestion, as applied to the continuation of it! The co-op would work as RE 2 did in being that each player/character has his/her own objectives. Therefore the two players are never in the same area unless they cross paths like "Clarie" and "Leon" did which was via CG scenes! So players would never be in the same area fighting, as this was the bulk of the bashing of my suggestion. As players were concered about players stealing/interrupting their combos. Also each player would be graded separately like RE 5! This setup is more than adequate for co-op in the DMC universe!
