Scribble Shooter Help & Tips

You have to go near one of those brown spots on the screen, go directly behind it so the boss is on the other side. Just shoot some rounds and he'll come drill at you but get stuck on that brown spot. From there, move and starting shooting at him, his force field won't work for a few seconds. Rinse, repeat.

 

The last boss is a real challenge.
I wont spoil anything since i reached it yesterday without loosing all of my ships and got the number 1 highscore with more than 5.000.000 points.

The tips i remember are:
The laser is essencial, its the yellow pick up
Its good to have your shield, which is the green pick up
The dark blue pick up lets you shoot from the back of the ship
The red pick up puts those rotating orbs around you that shoot rounds together with your main weapon
The dark pink (purple) pick up lets your ship fire rockets

Now if someone beats the tenth boss, please let me know how to do it.

 

Everyone needs to buy it to play it so if you get invited to play at someone elses and dont own it u got level one only unlike cabin boy

 

I can't figure out how to defeat boss 5, when he fires the laser, there's no way to avoid it.

 

Keep shooting at him, have all possible offensive weapon upgrades so you can deal more damage (triple shot, rockets, laser), and a shield if you can. When he bends his tail, quickly go under him and the opposite side of where his tail is at, and follow in the direction that he's going with the beam, but be sure not to get struck by the beam as you're moving with him, then he'll go back to firing dots but his movements will be quicker with less and less health. Basically rinse, repeat.

Hopefully that makes sense, just try it out and lemme know if I need to give a better explanation.

 

I actually beat Scribble Shooter twice yesterday on two different accounts. I can go ahead and give tips for that last boss if you still need them. Last boss is somewhat a pain, especially the second half of the boss fight, but not impossible.

 

That is lame. If future arcade releases do the same thing I dont think I will buy them. I thought the higher price than the other Home arcades was Ok, but I dont like this.

 

I would love some hints because i always die, even if i have 2 or 3 lives when the battle goes to stage 2.

 

Well for starters, have at least a shield and the triple shot on you before going into the fight. Keep your L stick pointed in the opposite direction of the boss since you're constantly being sucked in. Try and stay along the edge but not right along just in case an enemy happens your way and makes contact with your ship. Let the bombs go as close as possible to the boss before shooting them, that'll ensure they will go off once sucked in. For the second half, I literally had to flip myself upside down (was playing while sitting on my bed, just laid on my back), so you'll at least be able to see your screen straight. Rinse/repeat.

In case you lose your shield but happen to have another upgrade on you, I would recommend sacrificing that powerup and switching it to the shield. When that happens, press Square button and whatever other powerup you have will drop, then there you can shoot at it and have it land on shield, then just pick it up. Best to play defense while shooting the bombs since that's the only way to damage this boss.

Thanks, right after I posted that I figured out that I needed to be on the opposite side of the tail when he fires the laser. Now I'm up to level 6, but I died with about 2 seconds left of boss health and turned it off afterwards.

 

I was really thinking about getting this game today.....until I read that part! lol
The last time I had to flip myself upside down in bed was when.................ah forget that one. :w00t:
