The Jetski game is free to play, you race a 3 lap race with 3 other users. You can buy better Jetski's also. The space will go from day to night going by the time.
I can't wait to collect the 7 underwater rewards as well. I bet there's even more rewards for the jet ski races... BTW, one question that's almost off-topic: With the rise of this, do you expect to see the Home rewards from Spelunker, Spelunker Black, and the Pachipara games to be removed? I would hate to see the Home spaces from those be revoked...
Irem it self is still open and running, they only closed a online store they owned due to lack of sales from it, they even added a few new content items this week to Japan Home. Granzella is a total new company set up by someone that used to work for Irem and worked on making the Irem Home spaces, thats why the Granzella space feels very much like Irem.
The main reason the online store closed is because the person responsible moved to become the president of Granzella.
Okay, so I take it Irem would still be under PS Home, and not taking out any of their spaces, even if Granzella had opened... Right now, I'm playing Spelunker Black and I'm trying to go through the solo excursion mode to get the outfit and the black crystal ghost item. I got the boots so far, and I found out there's no gloves at all for this version. Tried going through the game launch within the Spelunker space in JP Home, but no item showed up after I had beaten level 20. It's hell, but it's so much more challenging! ^^ I was afraid that if Irem was going under, then Sony would at least keep the spaces for Home for the other people that haven't gotten reward items from either Spelunker or Pachipara, or from Seaside and Irem Square.
