I'm still working on the codes to add the the original post for scanning. I want to test them first too. So give me half an hour.
The good news is that since I posted that total 2 hours ago, it's gone up to 12,960 points. That's 460 points in 2 hours. Not bad. though I think I added alot of that myself with probably Chad. LOL I think we can make that by just creating... uhm... 4700 more FB accounts......
I think I found what the B-EE chopper reward from the Deus Ex QR Code Scavenger Hunt might look like. I think it's this helicopter... It does say "B-EE" on the side....

The one's FireFly posted in the first post of this thread are the QR codes that need to be scanned. Of 21, only 6 have been revealed to us. Take your iPhone/iPad, then on the Deus Ex app choose "Capture" at the bottom, then point the camera at the screen where the QR code is at. Here's the first one, again the others are in the first post of this thread.
The iPhone and iPad requirement makes this game impossible for others. This promotion is not very good if it restricts others from joining the game.
I'm sure the people here will try and help out the ones that can't. it's just a matter of logging out then into another facebook account then pointing the camera the QR codes posted by everyone here. But we will probably wait till all 21 codes are out so we can give everyone all 21 codes at once. If anyone wants the codes scanned for them, make up a spare email account then use it to make a spare facebook account. then give us the email and passwords to the facebook. And we'll log in and capture the codes for ya. But I don't think we should do scan alot of codes yet. it's easier to wait till more codes are out, then scan everything at one time.
Waiting is a good idea... who knows, maybe they will change the game to make it accessible by more people. Although my pessimistic side says it ain't going to happen. : (
I'm worried that the 1 million point goal is too high. Our current total is miniscule. 14470 each account can only make 210 points. 420 if you preorder the game and do another minigame.
As much as I'd like for this item to unlock, it seems almost impossible right now for the score to reach 1,000,000 by the end of august...
Perhaps they will open the unlock up to other venues. I'm sure they would like to see the goal reached. It's not in their interest to make this too difficult in my view but then again you never know. They have excluded an awful lot of people.
You don't need a iphone. Just need to know someone who does. Just please make a spare FB acct for this. Spreading real facebook login data is not a good idea. Create some spares. Create alot of spares. LOL And we will start scanning when more codes are available.
Neither do I Hun. I just don't want a data plan bill at this point in my life. I am tempted though when I get a job to get an iPhone but it won't be for promotions like these which are really a bit too much work to make them worthwhile for me.
