The reward will be a companion for Home. A toy version of the “B-EE Chopper” from the game. You can choose either a playstation Home reward, or an xbox live avatar item. The website for this is below Deus Ex: Human Revolution To get this reward you need:itunes to get the Deus Ex appan iphone or ipad (with a built in camera) to run the app and take pictures.a Facebook Account to score pointsOR a friend to do it for youINSTRUCTIONS: Search itunes for a "Deus Ex" app and install it. It's free. Run it and there will be a button to connect to your Facebook. Click it and enter your facebook information (email and password). Then say click ALLOW (twice) for Facebook to talk to the Deus Ex App. you can choose either a reward for xbox or playstation. Then you have to activate the CAPTURE feature of the app and aim your iphone camera onto one of the black and white QR codes below. The first 10 or so codes were only 10 pts each. But now they are 100, with some being even more.(UPDATED) You can get double points if you preorder and enter the "Experience Augmentation Contest" (wherever that is). There are 21 total Deus Ex QR codes to get. Please post any code you find on the net and where you got it from. It seems that we need 1 million community points to get the Home rewards, but right now it's only at 10,000. This may take a while... By the way, when did this start?
I just got the email for it yesterday. So I think yesterday was probably the day it was massed mailed to everyone. I'm guessing they would want to build grassroots support first among the hardcore square fanbase first. Then introduce it to the media and the general public. But that's just a guess.
I think this started about 5 days ago, there's an official twitter source to follow hinting at locations of QR codes and those date back to starting around June 21st.
Came across a link from an AlphaZone4 tweet, seems this is only a US and Canadian promotion. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-06-22-deus-ex-human-revolution-qr-missions Also, they revealed what the companion is that they're giving out in the link above, and that this is a timed promo. Not being pessimistic but, seeing that the total point score is only around 12k now and there being only two months left, not to mention those that care but don't own an iPhone, realistically I don't see us hitting the 1 mil before the 23rd of August...

I'll try and post codes that I find. If you find any please post them here too! This one is from the facebook app page (this was a mistake) I'll have to give each image a separate post. Because if I do them all together, it will be impossible to target an individual one. The scanner just locks on the first code it can see. So if you put them together, it's a pain to scan them all.
