yeah man your not alone. a lot of people are reporting this too and the fact that E3 is near means a lot of people will be mad. maybe they rewards should be redeem codes? but i googled "playstation received item bug" and got a lot of results from the official site. so your not alone.
I wouldn't mind waiting if there weren't so many reward items around at the moment that are only here for a short time. Baseline, E3 and WKC for example. I'd like the deadline extended and I've made a thread: Sony - deadline extension please? - Official PlayStation® Community -PlayStation.com Any posts of support would be most welcome. Also, I promise that I don't whine all the time. I just joined this forum at a rather bad time for Home.
Thanks Trillian, Hopper, Dan and Casper (for the invite to Tron for the shirt) and everyone that worked on this freeze fix. I hope it's more than temporary. I went straight from Casper's Tron Apt to Aurora and immediately received the "Lucille Wall Art" for Level 45 that I completed days ago. Yay!!! to the YPSH Team of Home Fixers. ;D P.S. I hope that others that already have the Tron shirt or need another workaround can find one. Best luck to all. BTW. I went with 5GB of Home reserved space to save room on my HD.
I finally got access to my Garage Mansion and got an ugly Gold Robe But yay, i'm in. Went to Conspiracy (no freeze here either), but seems a little wacky? No immediate reward here that I think it owes me but played one raid and left to Harbor Studio returned and got Level 4 shirt. It should still owe me one. Looks like it wants me to play Level 4 again for Reus? No time now, will try later and post results here and in PS.com Conspiracry thread as well. Went to Midway, no reward I believe they owe me was awarded. I don't really need that or the Conspiracy reward although they may both show up later? I need to try again tommorow or Tuesday to know for sure. It seems that my bug is fixed (for now) and that makes me very happy. ;D :taz:
I did it! ir worked IM SO HAPPY! you guys are awesome omg I love you all I change 1 thing on the hopper stragedy. I told a friend to give me SOMETHING that I didnt have from lochwood machine and when I arrive on his apt. I GOT the reward! and went to aurora and got my reward etc OMG IM so happy!! I LOVE YPSH AND EVERYONE THAT HELP TO FIND A WAY TO FIX THIS! *hugs to everyone*
Happy to hear someone else had success and also did it with a Lockwood gift. I did win a few rewards from Midway2 that it would not give me prior to this "fix" before going to bed last night.
I am really glad to hear that things have worked out for a couple of more people here. Unfortunately, I have several friends that nothing has worked for yet, so I just hope the "official" fix gets things back to "normal" for everyone SOON. Hang in there :thumbsup:
I've already had came on a few days ago, but I didn't plan on playing and earning rewards just yet. The Baron egg game is still working. But alas, no Tekken 6 nor the new Dragon's Lair arcade that I purchased from the game in PSN had come up, since I deleted my Game Utility.

Well I just had to go for that lil robot at the Virtua Baseline Battle game, thought I had it too, and still with 3 extra lifes! Yay! My new item reward message was gonna verify that, but it froze everything in the process. Boo. So that makes it 2 for 2 for me. I got the freeze in both NA and now EU. Unfortunately E3 rewards are coming later today. I doubt it's gonna cause a mass freeze when peeps get them, but if it does, maybe they'll fix it a bit sooner. Nah, prolly not. Good luck ev1 :smile:
Well, with nDreamers sounding promising I sent this tweet: @ndreamers If you have a fix for Reward Freeze Bug in Home then please tell us. I can earn no rewards in any space and E3 is ahead. They replied with: @PendrakeDW We're looking at releasing a fix for Aurora, but I know Sony have a general fix coming soon - talk to their support team 4 info. I have tried tweeting to Sony support staff too. Guess how much response I got there? Exactly.
I found a way to fix my account after trying all suggestions. Today really running out of ideas I thought I'd try every single reward I could think in the hope that it would somehow miraculously unlock my account (I was getting desperate). Well I played the Ice Breaker game that froze me as usual, so I restarted my PS3 deleted the data utility home file and proceeded to the Mui Mui Ship, I went to the exchange spot and traded 30 pickories for the 2nd reward to my very delightful surprise I received the new item notification and I didn't bloody freeze after about 20 previous attempts with all types of rewards. Next I went to my Aurora Island and I received my level 60 reward that I was owed. Success. I hope that if nothing so far has worked for you this way can get you back on track. Best wishes.
Just a note to let everyone know. I got the reward bug this morning playing Salt Shooter when I received a new accolade reward. Didn't even know about the rewards given I haven't played that game in such a long time. I used Hopper's fix and Dan was nice enough to let me use his Tron Apartment to win a t-shirt. Stressful but at least it worked well and the fix was easy for me.
Thought I had it fixed in NA but the 3 of 8 trailer reward froze me. Geez. That Nebulon outifit is a guaranteed best seller. I got it right away before the freeze, Wips saw me and immediately said, where, how? lol Dang this freeze bug!
Here's a SupaeasyE3rewardfix for that bug freeze courtesy of DanMW :smile: (Note: I should know better, this is easy peasy if you got the pickories and it works, which it of course won't always, dang!) If you haven't already gotten all the items from the MuiMui Cruiser, this is the way: A) Delete the Home icon in the Game Data Utility folder. B) Goto the MuiMui Crusider and buy a 30 pickorie item. C) Enjoy getting more rewards. Don't think I missed anything. Pretty easy peasy, mostly. Gracias Dan!
This is exactly how I fixed mine and now after getting E3 rewards, I'm freezing again ... This is totally irritating, especially after already "fixing it" once...now it's happening again. Thanks Sony >8(
OMG i just tried this and YES i am Cured... Woohoo. Its been over 2 weeks now since i have had this "item reward bug" If anyone is still having this problem then try this NOW coz it works Thankyou Trill for telling me about this, i can now play games and win rewards on home Wips

I tried this and after giving the ship time to load, when I click on the exchange shop it automatically awarded me with "You received a BuiBui Replica to commemorate the completion of your LocoRoco Figurine collection!" and "! You have received a new item" are both froze on my screeeeeeeeen. ;D
