And great to see an official Home moderator/somebody respond. I won't even mention how long it took them to do so. Nope not a word about that.

Now please send me a link to change my EU password that doesn't expire in just 3 hours please. Pretty please.

 

Hey guys, what exactly causes this error? Is it only the level 60 reward?

Unfortunately the root cause seems to be more than just one thing or space that's creating all this new item reward freezing trouble.

In my case it definitely started upon entering the NA Home square space one fine evening where I was promptly rewarded (yay not) with a SOCOM t-shirt. Then freeze.

That evening the only other thing I remember doing was playing the Slap Happy game in that public space earlier and winning something. I had left and wandered elsewhere then eventually went back and froze. Which left me wandering why I loved Home so much.

 

oh, sorry to hear that. that really sucks.

I guess it can be anything, right?

at least we know it will be fixed with the June 30th update. Though it's far away...

 

Nice Hopper. I won't be able to try your recipe' until Friday at the earliest. BTW FF, I avoided level 45 Aurora reward but then froze on level 3 of Swingers. Since I already had the bug I continued to find them at Aurora level 45, Conspiracy level 4 Reus, etc. For me, it is not isolated to any particular reward, space, developer, etc.

....ok I was able to get the other 2 t-shirts from the Tron space today without any problems. Next thing will be to reach level 65 in Aurora and see what happens then, but I think I might have this thing licked!

I have a good feeling this might work for you too kane---only thing I'm not sure about in your case is being able to recover those other rewards that have frozen you along the way (Conspiracy, Midway, etc.). Not sure how that will work, because I still havent received the 2 Lockwood items that FF sent when we tried this before. I may have to contact Lockwood (or I'm sure Home managers would be more than happy to get that squared away for me........NOT) on that because they DO show as gifts that I already have when someone else looks on gift machine. If you do try what I did I hope it works for you too. Let me know what happens when you have the chance. PEACE

Unfortunately I didnt FF. After I received them and froze immediately I had to delete Home Game Data Utility to get back in both times. I think that cleared them for some reason--still not sure about that though. The worst part about it is that I now know from what Trill told me yesterday, that if I didnt have the gift machine out in the space that I initially came into it may have worked! Just all part of the frustration in dealing with this for me. I will try to get those items that you sent because by rights, you sent them and I should have been able to receive them. I got you covered when store is back up either way--I really appreciated your willingness to try to help like you did.

EDIT: I just sent an e-mail to Lockwood about those 2 items FF.....we'll see what I hear back from them.

 

I hope you get those, Hops. Technically this was a PAID item purchase, so Sony should get them to you if you stick a stick up their backside to get them to move. LOL

But don't worry about me. I don't need anything back. Plus I'm not big on the gift machine items. And I did have tokens to spare. So no loss here.

Though if you have the capcom crown, I could use help getting my rewards. I only have one capcom girl pet. I need help getting more. It takes 5 people to get each one. And that lounge is always empty....

 

I actually never did get that crown, but was talking about that recently soon after Japan came back online. I so wish I had gotten it before the downtime because now would probably be a good time to do it as you mentioned--so long as we could get 3 more people...which Im sure we could. If you still need the help after stores open I will get it and will be more than happy to help.

 

This problem seems to be an all 1.50 exclusive. And I sure hope they fix it way before the end of the month I don't want to be missing out for so long. Deleting the data utility file only allows me to get back into Home, but I can't earn any new rewards or go anywhere (ie Aurora) where I'm owed a rewards without insta-freeze .:V_V:.

 

That's great that deleting that works at least to get back on. The other methods were a lot more complicated. But still, thanks to everyone that has found these methods.

I agree about them sitting around collecting a paycheck . It does seem like those that shouldn't have needed to be involved with getting the network back up could have used the extra time from the outage to make some fixes. Still, I'm no expert.

 

I'm just avoiding Home for now. It's the only way to be sure that rewards won't get lost in the muddle.

I'm not saying I'll stay away completely but I'm not touching Aurora or Midway games. Just got Magic:The Gathering through Plus and I'll be checking out the Home rewards list on that so that I can stear clear of earning them if I even load the game up before 30th June.

It's temporary and it kills me to know I'll be lagging behind on Aurora but for me this is a Home killer until it gets fixed. It's a choice between laying off Home for a month or risking losses and I don't want to lose stuff in a corrupted account so my choice is clear I'm sad to say.

 

Still having the freeze issues on NA Home, even after PSN is fully up now. Sad... I hope they fixed this sooner!

 

now there is a new freeze bug that happens when you get the tv reward after completing wave 6 at that sega tennis minigame at EU home square.. just fyi..

My EU account just got infected with this bug after earning the level 15 reward from the new Baseline Battle :/

Hopper, I'm looking at your method here. Will this enable me to earn that reward again? Seems like some rewards can be earned based on what posts I've read of yours. I'm willing to give this a shot, I really don't wanna miss out on any E3 goodies...

 

Reading Hopper and KCChad's posts above, I feel sad for you guys, honestly. I just received all my rewards and scored 2nd place at the mini-game tonight.

And here's another piece of news I just sought from one of the Home staff from EU. He/She said they'll be fixing the new item bug/glitch sometime on or before JUNE 30TH!
