The only problem with having a Taiwan account over a HK is that 45 of us are on HK and when there is an event you won't see all of us at the event. So if you like the idea of keeping an account in Asia it might be best to get one in HK when they come back online. BTW, DCS stands for Doom Comes Soon !!! (he's a pessimist) ;D
So not all Asia Home is the same? I did see the Taiwan exclusive space but I assumed all the other spaces were free to any other in the Asia region. And one more question...I was always hesitant to use other region accounts in Home because I figured it would take too much hard drive space? I have a 500 gb but I dont want two seperate 12gb caches for both.
Asian foreign account and that Disgaea space sound good. Might create an avatar to go check this out. But how did you find out that Taiwan had better stuff? Is Taiwan closer in presentation to Japan Home ?
Far as Disgaea space unless u have an asian ps3 the hell points u get won't work only on asian ps3's! So Beware! Far as Taiwan lounge the Lounge itself i know from other people to have had more FREE stuff in the taiwan than any other asian Home The Lounge for Taiwan has had many item's compared to poor HK that has only had a few item's since it opened... None of the asian Homes are gonna be like Japan. And i doubt they ever will. I just know that The Taiwan LOUNGE itself is better than other asain homes... So that's one reason alone to pick Taiwan if u like more FREE item's Taiwan is the one to pick then. But i picked HK in 2009 so i'll stick with that if it ever reopens i'm not gonna restart over... So the Taiwan lounge is a permanent feature of TW Home? What's in it? I heard the HK Home had a regional user meeting space available. that must be the opposite of a Global space :teehee:
All Asian homes have the Lounge... But Taiwan started it first and they seem to update it quite allot... Homes like HK have the lounge but it never hardly gets updated... So in that case HK gets left out when it comes to that lounge! AWW!
Each Home in Asia has it's own unique lounge that no one else can enter. But they all look the same. Each usually has a quiz where you can get a reward. taiwan does get maybe one shirt reward a year more. But it's not a big difference from HK. If you are wondering which one to start out with, you can always try both. Then drop one later. =]
yeah, but most people don't spend any money at all on Home Asia. It's kinda pointless. Even people I know who LIVE in Hong Kong don't use their own server and come to NA to spend. LOL
well i have Spent Money on HK Home thanks to Money God and Money God Jr... Plus not to mention all the special events and all with limited one time item's! I don't want to loose all that.
Thanks for all the info DCS. So thats why I couldn't figure out how use Hell points to vote for a Prinny race. Well other than that it is an amazing space. With so many games (2 arcade, 2 active and the race), I would never leave if there were people there to play against. I am very impressed by the space, and I could only hope it comes to the US. I was surprised I would not find the quiz game from the original space, but with all the other things I understand why it might have been taken out. If anyone wants to play netherworld or that hells 7 just send me a message on my main account (The_FPS) and if I am on I will switch.
I think the quiz is being reworked. It will probably be in that area you can't enter now. But I think the netherworld game still gives a prinny shirt. IDK for sure.
yeah, HK is down. But the rest of asia seems to be up. And oddly, there are some VERY nice Sodium and Lockwood stuff that I don't think is available in NA or EU. Some nice hologram wings are very cool!

same for me, maybe 3rd time i'm asked to change password but unfortunately still not working and displaying the hated "ps network is undergoing maintenance" message PSN hack is almost 2 monthes old now, US and EU PSN have been partially restored 1 month ago US and EU PS Store reopened recently as JP PSN was restored and some countries from Asia region so how can HK PSN still being down??? this getting to be ridiculous even my HK account is not the one i worry the most, i have some nice rewards on it i wouldnt lose hurry up sony, do something
