If if gets us closer to PSN getting back up, then great. I am sure someone will have it posted on youtube or even some media coverage (translated I assume). Considering how long it has taken them to say something other than in a blog, I will take whatever I can get.
Well on the plus side, since home was still down yesterday, I went outside, and eventually made my way to the Crawfish Boil. Got to see Weezer, C Lo Green and Sublime
"Sony Corp’s Executive Deputy President Kazuo Hirai is to host a news conference on Sunday regarding the security breach of the companies PlayStation Network, the Japanese electronics giant said. Hirai will speak at 2:00 p.m. Japan time (09:00 a.m. ET) about the breach, as well as the firm’s information management system and the schedule to resume services, Sony said in a news release today." The time shown in that statement for ET is wrong. Here are the times: 02:00 pm Japan 05:00 am London GMT or 6am BST 01:00 am New York EST or Midnight EDT 10:00 pm Los Angeles (Saturday) PST
Sony: remember us we've been your best friend for years, don't you miss us :flowers: then the sony kiss arses will be like SonyLuvrs: They didn't do anything wrong they just wanted to make you guys happy why complain it's like stupid you bought the stuff and wasted your money it's not their fault it's yours.......
I wonder if Hirai will announce Stringer's exit and Hirai taking over. Stringer's reign over Sony hasn't been very good. This could be the final nail in the coffin.
We need two threads. One for proactivists and one for reactivists. ;D Just kidding. Everything will work out fine. If you're still :w00t: then read these. Information Compromised - Deter. Detect. Defend. Avoid ID Theft What can I do about the PlayStation Network hack? | Money | guardian.co.uk
I hope PSN is back up again soon and I will be able to make a big update to the Home FREEBIES thread! Wahooo! I've been enjoying the time away from my PS3 visiting with my Gramps and doing some side jobs (the kind of jobs that people never get around to doing themselves, but are more than willing to pay someone else to do lol). I'm thinking about becoming a full-time self-employed handyman with this kind of money and the way my schedule has filled up here lately  Hang in there everyone and enjoy the weekend....this too shall pass. PEACE Oh and I've also been enjoying some great playoff hockey--GO LIGHTNING!! Some good racing this weekend too....IRL in Brazil on Sun. (my Uncle is there working the race...the lucky bastard lol). Go get 'em Danica!
My BF has been watching some of that hockey too when he can find games on satellite or something. It's pretty exciting stuff. None of the teams that we saw in Colorado in December are still playing though. I'm not too keen on racing but Brazil would be sweet!
Hey Liza--hope you and BF are good. Hated to see my Blackhawks lose in game 7 after fighting their way back from 0-3 in their series, but I'm a transplant Florida sports team fan as well, so I'm hoping the Lightning can take out that chump Ovechkin and the Caps. They took game 1 on the road last night, but I still think it will go 6 or 7. In terms of racing, I'll watch ANY kind of racing--from horses to cars to lawn mowers LOL we3jesters--that does sound like a great show! Havent heard much C Lo Green I dont think, but I always liked Weezer and Sublime. Guess this was all waaay off-topic, but it was fun to jump back into the YPSH scene for a bit. Maybe I should start a YPSH sports and music talk thread? Not so sure that would go over too well lol Take it easy
Well there has been some movement on psn return. Just got the ps3 newsletter dated 4/11. Also if you look at your sign in page of your ps3. You'll notice the forgot your password tab is back. That was not there since this whole mess started. Maybe that announcement later tonight will have real good news for us...
I hope you are right - but with their recent track record (and sorry to say - but big corps like TEPCO in Japan) in giving out any sort of "reliable" info................................. Personally - I think this is just Sony's way to try and save *what's left of their* face (and money/stock) JPConway
10 things to do while the PSN is offline 10 things to do while the PSN is offline 10. Play single player games that don’t require PSN like SOCOM 4. 9. Play your other consoles. That’s right! Give that Wii and Xbox some love or jump on the Sega Saturn and play some Yu-No 8. Watch TV. Entertainment comes in many forms, TV is one of them. 7. Have sex. Yes, you should be having sex anyways, but you can get an early start now that your console is down for the count. You’ll earn some brownie points too. Tell your girl that you’d rather spend quality time with her than play on PSN. She won’t know the real truth. <- Personal Favorite 6. Go out and do something. Grab a drink, hit a strip club, bowl or see a movie. There’s life outside of your Playstation 3. 5. Hit the gym. If your frustrated about not being able to play SOCOM 4, hit the gym and work some of it off. 4. Get creative! You can write, draw, sing, rap, shoot movies and pictures and a multitude of other creative things with your time. 3. Go and bake something. Baking can be fun and the end rewards are tasty. 2. Take a long bath. Toss some Calgon in the water and just chill for awhile and think tank about life. 1. Get your credit card number changed. Yeah it’s a pain in the ass but this will be the first thing I do tomorrow.
